In Michigan, every business, excluding Michigan Limited Partnerships and Limited Liability Partnerships, is mandated to file an annual report with the Secretary of State. The deadlines and filing fees for the submission of the Annual Report for different businesses are as follows: For Corporations, the deadline is May 15 with a fee of $25. For LLCs, the deadline is February 15 with a fee of $25. Domestic Non-profit Corporations are required to file by October 1 in the year following incorporation and October 1 each subsequent year with a fee of $20. Foreign Non-profit Corporations also have to file by October 1 in the year following initial authorization to conduct business in Michigan and October 1 each subsequent year with a fee of $20. Professional Corporations have their deadline each year before May 15 with a fee of $25. Charities have a deadline of 7 months following the Fiscal Year End with no fee.
